 Leapfrog Toys and the National Space Centre have teamed up with The Scout Association to create a Beaver Scout resource pack, which will be available in October, to celebrate Leapster2's spaced theme software titles, Star Wars, The Cline Wars and Wall-E.
The packs are filled with interesting facts and figures relating to space as well as activities that can be undertaken at the Beaver Scout sessions and at home.What's more all the activities relate to the Explore, Experiment and Hobbies badges.
There are details of a fantastic competition and the opportunities for Beaver Scouts to win a Family Ticket to visit the National Space Centre with additional prizes of Leapster2 systems and software. A discount voucher will be available against the purchase of Leapster 2 at Toys R Us stores.
Leapster2 is a new gaming console that makes learning fun for children.They can choose from ten exciting software titles featuring their favourite cartoon characters, while gaining skills in maths, literacy and creativity.The Leapster2 can also be connected to a PC where there are lotsof rewards and additional activities for children and parents alike to access and download.
