North East Region Scouts Glider

The Scout Counties of Cleveland, Durham, Northumberland, Central, North, South & West Yorkshire have an arrangement with the Yorkshire Gliding Club at Sutton Bank near Thirsk which allows Scouts to Glide on 30 weekends each year at very competitive rates.

Hunters Greave Camp Site - Leeds Print E-mail

hgb_150.jpgHunter's Greave Activity Centre is situated in the Kirkstall Valley just 4 miles from the center of Leeds.

The sheltered camping area includes firebases, woodpile, incinerator, campfire circle, standpipe water, flush toilets, washbasins and a car park.

For those requiring indoor accommodation there is a site building with a carpeted floor, tables and chairs, a separate kitchen and sink, cold running water, calor gas cooking, electric water boiler, fridge and storage cupboards.  All rooms and toilet have electric lighting and 13 amp sockets

Bramhope Scout Campsite is situated some 8 Miles NNW of Leeds, and half a mile West of Bramhope Village. The campsite has thirteen and a half acres of ground surrounded by trees of many descriptions, with areas suitable for District, Troop and Patrol camping.
